AFC Cup 2015 1st Leg preview
FC Istiklol and Johor are hopeful to get positive results against both Kuwait clubs when both semifinals get underway on Tuesday and Wednesday. Johor are the only East Asian hope in the quest to win the competition.

FC Istiklol in the AFC Cup Semifinals
FC Istiklol lose 3-1 vs Pahang but on aggregate they won the tie 5-3 and advanced to the AFC Cup semifinals in their competition debut now the Tajiks will play against former competition champions Kuwait SC in the next stage.

AFC Cup 2015 Quarterfinals 2nd leg Pahang vs FC Istiklol
This week are the 2nd legs of the AFC Cup and FC Istiklol heads to Malaysia to resolve without any problem the tie and qualify for the semifinals in their competition debut,
Pahang vs FC Istiklol
In the 1st leg played at the Republican Central stadium in Dushanbe they won 4-0, they did an amazing match and they showed a very good collective game, With this victory Istiklol position themselves as favorites for the title, they are near to emulate the same campaign that they did 3 years ago when they won the AFC ´President´s Cup at home soil, in 2012 the AFC President´s Cup Final round was played in Dushanbe and Istiklol won it in great style, now this group of players want to make the same and bring the AFC Cup troph to Dushanbe but first they must progress to the semifinals and wait for their next rival who will be Kitchee from Hong Kong or Kuwait SC from Kuwait.

In other matches Kitchee is virtually eliminated because in the 1st leg they lose 6-0 vs Kuwait SC so this makes Kuwait SC as the next opponent of Istiklol.
The other representative from Hong Kong, South China plays at home vs Johor s and they are aiming to reach the semifinals like they did in 2009 while the Malaysians who were recently crowned Malaysian Super League champion also dreams to progress to the semifinals in their competition debut.
European Leagues Revelations
This beginning of season in European football has brought some revelations in different leagues like Austria, England, Poland and The Netherlands.
In Poland the league is leaded by Piast Gliwice with 18 points who is enjoying their best ever start of season and in 2nd place with 14 points is MKS Pogon Szczecin who also is having one of their best starts of season ever, in 3rd place is Ruch Chorzow with 13 points and in 4th place with 12 points is Legia Warszawa, in 5th place and with 12 points too is MKS Cracovia Krakow who in the latest seasons has fought for not to drop to 2nd division is having also a good start of season and it will be interesting for how long Piast, Pogon and Cracovia will maintain this level, i hope they continue to stay in the top 5 because we will have a very interesting fight for the championship.
In the other side Lech Poznan is not having a good start of season in years, they´re in 15 place with only 4 points in 8 games played, the big names of Polish football are in the 2nd part of the table by this period but only time will see of they improve their level.
The Netherlands
With 5 games played Heracles Almelo is tucked between the 3 giants of Dutch football Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV in the leadership of the table, they´re having the best start of season located in 2nd place with 12 points, 1 less than leaders AFC Ajax, former champions AZ Alkmaar is in 13th place with only 5 points.
England
Leicester City FC is fighting along the giants of English football in the leadership of the table, having one of their best starts of season in 5 games played they´re located in 2nd place with 11 points, for them its a dream start being above of Manchester United FC and Arsenal FC who both have 10 points, then in 5th place is Crystal Palace another team who is having a great start of season and then comes Everton, Swansea and Norwich who are having a dream start, in the bottom of the table Chelsea is having one of their worst start of seasons located in 17th place with 4 points same amount that have recent promoted AFC Bournemouth.
Austria
With 8 games played Admira Wacker Mödling is the big shock of the championship by leading the Bundesliga with 17 points, They´re normally used to be at mid table positions but this is their best ever start of season and they want to keep this level for long time, they´re just 1 point above of Austrian traditional teams like SK Rapid Wien, FK Austria Wien, recent promoted SV Mattersburg is in 4th place with 15 points, 1 more than FC Salzburg, in the 2nd part of the table SK Sturm Graz is 7th with 9 points.

Afghanistan – Renacer de las cenizas

2018 FIFA WCQ/2019 Asian Cup Joint Qualifiers
This was a matchday where traditional powers didn´t had problems to win their respective matches with big margins scores again and also it was good for Guam who still dream to reach the next stage.
All started in Guam where the local side hosted Oman looking for another home victory, it was an interesting match with situations for both sides and Oman having a lot of chances to score but Guam kept at bay the Omanians and it ended 0-0, deserved point for Guam who shares the lead of the group with Iran who won 3-0 vs India.
In other matches Australia didn´t had any problem to win vs Tajikistan 3-0 in Dushanbe, Jordan won 4-0 vs Bangladesh in Dhaka, Japan hammered Afghanistan 6-0 in Tehran, same score for Syria who destroyed Cambodia in Phnom Penh, Korea Republic had a comfortable win vs Lebanon 3-0, same score for China who won vs Maldives, Qatar resulted victorious in their visit to Hong Kong as it ended 3-2, Thailand came from behind to rescue a draw 2-2 vs Iraq in Bangkok while Vietnam got an away win vs Chinese Taipei 2-1, Kuwait won 2-0 vs Laos, Uzbekistan got an important victory in Manila and thrashed Philippines 5-1 and Bahrain got an away victory 4-0 vs Yemen.
The match between Malaysia vs Saudi Arabia was abandoned due to crowd disturbs and in the other group match Palestine recued a vital point vs UAE.

2018 FIFA WCQ/ 2019 AFC Asian Cup Joint Qualifiers
It was a matchday with biggest scores, 8-0, 9-0 10-0 and even 15-0!
Uzbekistan returned to the winning ways, Aleksandr Geynrikh scored the only goal to give the victory to the Uzbeks vs Yemen at Pakhtakor Stadium in Tashkent,, in the other match of the group DPR Korea won 1-0 vs Bahrain in Manama.
Meanwhule Kyrgyzstan rescued an important poin in their visit vs Jordan
Turkmenistan lose 3-1 vs Oman
In other results the until now Guam were thrashed by Iran in Tehran 6-0, Bangladesh suffered a hammering loss vs reigning Asian champions Australia 5-0 in Perth, Korea Republic destroyed Laos 8-0 and Kuwait hammered Myanmar 9-0, UAE scored 10 to beat Malaysia(10-0) and Japan beat Cambodia in Saitama 3-0 and China vs Hong Kong ended 0-0 but the biggest score recorded was the 15-0 of Qatar vs Bhutan.

In this new matchday Tajikistan will host Australia at the Republican Central stadium in Dushanbe, Philippines will host Uzbekistan(1st time that Philippines and Uzbekistan will face each other) , Guam will look to return to the winning ways and keep a clean sheet at home when they receive Oman, Cambodia vs Syria, Hong Kong vs Qatar, Chinese Taipei vs Vietnam, Lebanon vs Korea Republic, Thailand vs Iraq, Malaysia vs Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh vs Jordan, Japan will play for the 1st time in their history vs Afghanistan the match will be played in Azadi stadium in Tehran, Japan returns to that venue 10 years ago(in 2005 FIFA WCQ they lost there 2-1 vs Iran) , India will receive Iran in Bangalore, Palestine will receive UAE in Al Ram and Yemen will play vs Bahrain in Doha, Qatar.
