AFC Cup 2015 Final FC Istiklol vs Johor preview

Busan won the Asian title in 1985-86 as Daewoo Royals when the competition was called the Asian Club Championship but since it took the current name the AFC Champions League Busan only competed in 1 edition, in 2005, 10 years ago Busan did one of their greatest campaigns reaching the semifinals, they had a great team guided by the now defunct Scottish manager Ian Porterfield with prolific forwards like Popó aand Da Silva, both from Brazil, defender Lee Jung-hyo, Do Hawa-sung, an experienced forward like Denis Laktionov who in the previous year playing with Seongnam lose the ACL final vs Al Ittihad, Midfielder Kim Tae-min,  they won their group with perfect score, 6 wins, 0 draws, 0 loses, in the knockout stage Busan won easily vs Qatar giants Al Sadd and they were picked as one of the favorites to win the title, in the semifinals they faced current champions Al Ittihad Jeddah but the Koreans were crushed by the Saudis 5-0 in the 1st leg at home and in the 2nd leg played in Jeddah they lose 2-0, that was the end of Busan in the competition and since that edtion they haven´t returned to the ACL, they leave  good impression among all the Asian football community.

Cup competitions week, DFB Pokal 2nd round a new champion will be crowned

This week is of cup competitions in almost all Europe, DFB Pokal in Germany, England League Cup(Capital One Cup), The draw for the 1st round of the English FA Cup was made last Monday, Copa del Rey in Spain, ÖFB Samsung Cup in Austria, Russian Cup, Coupe de Suisse, in France Coupe de la Ligue.

Despite remaining on top of the table after 22 rounds of 2015 Metfone Cambodian League, Boeung Ket haven´t clinched the crown this season yet as the play-off round for top 4 teams will take place in November to determine this season Cambodian champions.
