Today marks an historic day for Turkmen football as Ahal won vs Arbil 2-1 at the AFC Cup group stage, they recorded their 1st ever victory, while Tajik champions Istiklol held defending champions Qadsia SC from Kuwait 2-2, Istiklol took the lead coming from behind but Qadsia equalized to put the score 2-2, Istiklol have now 4 points while Ahal have only 3 pts.
